Small Deeds Matter

A handful of seed will cover mountains with the green majesty of forests. I too will set my face to the wind and throw my handful of seed on high. ~Fiona Macleod

We all have something to share so volunteer or donate today. What will we pass on to the next generation? Choose to help break cycles of poverty and create a new present and future for children and their families in need.

How To Help

Our strategy is to bring people together who care, commit, connect and cause—the power of positive doing rather than just positive thinking. We encourage you to be a cause for change by giving your time, talents, and resources to projects that strengthen families and the community overall.

Volunteer Your Time
Your time is one of the most valuable gifts you can offer to someone and one of the greatest rewards in life is to make a child smile. Our hope is you will volunteer for projects that improve the quality of life for families who are often so consumed by the task of survival that celebration becomes a luxury they cannot afford. Many children living in poverty have never had a birthday party or ventured beyond a few blocks from home.

Share Your Talents
We need volunteers who are willing to share their talents and skills with children and families in need. Great at photography? A wiz at computers? Know how to sew? Volunteer to teach a class in your community free of charge to children and families in need. Helping someone acquire a new skill or discover a talent of their own builds a lifelong love of learning and creates a new vision of a life full of possibility.

Donate Your Resources
We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation in Virginia. We are 100% volunteer-based and all resources received are used solely for charitable purposes.
